Avengers Alliance Pro-Tip!
I get to play a lot of Avengers Alliance on Facebook—it’s part of my job. In playing so much, I’ve picked up some cool tidbits and figured I’d share with everyone playing. Hence, this post—the first of many AA Pro-Tip entries.
Today’s AA Pro-Tip is a simple one, but one many may overlook. It’s about visiting your allies. At the bottom of the Alliance window, you’ll see the names of your allies in the game—your Facebook friends who are also playing AA. Mouse over them and you’ll see the options for Visit, Gift and Profile. Here’s where the important stuff comes in.
First, make sure you visit your allies every day. The first time you visit an ally, you’ll be able to get a distress call from them. You’ll also be able to pick up a random assortment of gifts. They range from 30 silver, a Challenge Point, an Energy, maybe grenade or, most important, a three-pack of S.H.I.E.L.D. Points. You need the S.H.I.E.L.D. Points to level up your characters and buy stuff in the game. It’s crucial and can be hard to come by, so this is a huge help.
Second, make sure you send gifts to your allies. Why? It helps them, and that’s cool. Also, when they get gifts, they have the option to resend gifts back. So, you’re basically sending yourself a gift. I tend to only send my allies S.H.I.E.L.D. Points because I know how important they are. And, in turn, I get tons of S.H.I.E.L.D. points back.
That’s today’s AA Pro-Tip.
